Marvel Comics has maintained their position as the top comic book franchise for many decades. The franchise has produced comic books, toys, clothing, movies and video games. One of the better software packages available for gamers is Marvel-Super-Heroes developed by SpiDoL using the popular and powerful software gaming engine M.U.G.E.N.

This version is a remake of an earlier arcade version. As remakes go, this one is better than the original version. The game was developed done using 2-D graphics and requires 173MB for downloading. The game will have appeal to a wide range of people, including fans of the superhero genre, Marvel Comics fans, and people who enjoying a good fighting game.

The graphics are clear, and caricatures of the superheroes and villains are acceptable. The game has the feel of a classic arcade game from the 1970s and 1980s. For those individuals who have had experience with the prior version, they will have an easy time getting used to the controls. This software version has retained much of the same fighting action as the original, including some of the fighting moves.

With a few new villains and super heroes added in version three, Marvel-Super-Heroes now has a library of 27 super heroes and 16 different stages. The superheroes include many of the all time favorites such as Captain America, Hulk, Iron Man, Spider-Man and Wolverine. New players will also be introduced to cult favorites like Doctor Doom, Iceman, Magneto, Omega Red and Storm. Each super hero brings a unique feel to the game as the game features each one with their famous super powers intact. Players should be aware of the presence of a "hidden" character by the name of the Sentintal. Happy Hunting.

Of the 16 different levels, the most challenging levels would probably be Avalon, Mutant Hunting, Streets of Manhattan and Galactic Throne. All levels can be played in four different modes; team play (up to four players), arcade, watch and survival. With the help of the M.U.G.E.N. platform, each level is creative with amazing graphics. As the superheroes tackle each level, the player will become entranced by the quality of the non-stop fighting action.
